Today in Jammers we continued to learn more about Jesus. We learned the Jesus Helps us! He is the Good Shepherd, who takes care of all of his sheep. Please read your take home sheets for more information. This week in 123 Go, we talked about being thankful! God saved the Israelites from slavery and he constantly provided for their needs, yet they complained every chance they got. Do you complain when you don't get the dinner you want? How about when your friends get something you really wanted? Remember to always be thankful to God for everything He has provided for us. If you want more information on the story, read it for yourself in Exodus 15:22 - 17:7
Memory Verse (worth 5 Action Bucks):
"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done."
Philippians 4:6 (NLT)

Secret word this week is: LOVE
This week in Highway 45 we discussed the importance of helping others and not thinking of ourselves. It is important to help others out of the goodness of our hearts and not expect anything in return. It isn't always easy helping others, sometimes we don't know how to or we just might not want to, but the bible tells us how important it truly is to help those in need. This week's memory verse is "Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: "The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me." Romans 15:2-3 (NIV)
