This week in 123 Go, we talked about problems. Everyone has them, but one of the awesome things about God is that He is more powerful than any problem we could ever have and He will help us. All we have to do is ask. We learned about how the Israelites had a problem. They got stuck between the Red Sea and they Egyptian army. Moses prayed to God, and God parted the sea for them and then drown the entire Egyptian army! Read it for yourself in Exodus 13 and 14!

Memory Verse (worth 5 Action Bucks):
"I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me. He freed me from all of my fears." Psalm 34:4 (NLT)
*If your child has already memorized this verse in another version, I will accept that as well.

Special Assignment (worth 15 Action Bucks):
Discuss these questions as a family this week.
1. Parents was there at time when you had a problem and God helped you?
Tell your children about it!
2. What happens when we focus on our problems instead of God?
3. What problems are you facing right now? Pray together that God would help you!

Write down one way that God has helped you this week, and have parents sign a paper that lets me know you talked about these questions to receive your action bucks!

Secret word this week is: Needs

This week in Highway 45 we discussed how important it is not to judge people who are different than us. Jesus hung out with "weird" people. In fact, he was always getting in trouble with the Pharisees because they thought he needed to stop hanging out with weird people and start hanging out with them. Not everyone is who they appear to be, and if you take the time to get to know someone who is weird. You just might find out you have more in common than you thought! This week's memory verse is "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-2 (NIV)
