This week in Animal J.a.m. our 2 year olds learned about God making them and the things around them our 3&4 year olds learned about God making the earth. Please look at your take home sheets for more information
Today in Jammers we started a new unit. We are important to Jesus! This week we looked at how Jesus knows me from John 1:43-49. Please read your take home sheets for more information!

This week in 123 Go, we started a new unit about obeying God. This we we learned that we can show God we trust Him, by obeying him. We heard about how God called Moses to go get the Israelites out of Egypt. We will be learning more about this journey for the next few weeks.

Memory Verse (worth 5 Action Bucks):
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and He will direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)

*If your child has already memorized this verse in another version, I will accept that as well.

Special Assignment (worth 20 Action Bucks):
This week: Look up Ephesians 6:1 and discuss the following questions together as a family.
1. How does obeying someone show that you trust them?
2. How does obeying your parents shows that you trust them.
3. Is it important for us to trust and obey God?
4. Even though we can't see God, we can trust that He will always be there for us. Share a time when God has done what He said He was going to do with each other.

Have your parents sign a paper that says you talked about these questions for 20 Action Bucks on Sunday!

Secret word this week is: LOVE

This week in Highway 45 we discussed how we are all different by God's own design. Of course, sometimes we forget that and treat others poorly because they're different from us. It might be harder to accept someone who is different from us, but remember that God made each person unique for a reason. This week I challenged the kids to accept someone who is different from them, spend some time with them, and find one reason they think God made that person uniquely different. This weeks memory verse is "Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God." Romans 15:7
