What we learned, Sunday January 2nd

What we learned, Sunday January 2nd

This week in Animal J.a.m. our 2 year olds learned that God gives us food. Our 3 & 4 year olds learned that Jesus teaches about pleasing God. Please look at your take home sheets for more information
Today in Jammers we continued to learn more about Jesus. We can worship Jesus. Please look in your child's bag for more information.

This week in 123 Go we picked back up on our Berry Blast Theme Park lesson, this week's main point was self-control and thinking of what God wants me to do before I act. We don't always think before we say or do things, and sometimes that can have terrible consequences or hurt people we care about. Sometimes we just need to stop and think about what would God want from us and we'd all be much better off.

Memory Verse (worth 5 Action Bucks):
"A person without self-control is like a city with broken down walls." Proverbs 25:28 (NLT)

*If your child has already memorized this verse in another version, I will accept that as well.

Secret word this week is: PATIENCE

This week in Highway 45 we started memorizing the books of the bible. We will be focusing on five books at a time, I don't want to overwhelm the kids but at the same time I thinking having each book from both the Old and New Testament memorized is important and something that the kids will use for the rest of their lives. So parents, if you could please help your children memorize their five books every week it would be a huge help to me Sunday mornings. This week is: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
